Supply Chain Selection and Management
Amber Blue’s supply chain experience provides open and transparent supply chain selection methodologies including multi contractor appointments to cover capacity, scale, location and project scope.
Partnering Arrangements
Partnering covers experience in LIFT, BSF, NHS Frameworks Scotland and PPP/PFI. Local working arrangements include client co-location; staff appointments and secondments; and joint public/private sector board arrangements. These have been used to develop shared objectives through senior management commitments, effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Raising Funding
Project finance arrangements have included equity, sub-debt and senior debt, monoline bonds, third party income, EIB funding, residual value allowances, capital contributions, and revolving debt facilities. Contractual structures include public sector shareholders and capped private sector returns; with funding clubs used to deliver larger project requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Company and supply chain performance is monitored using bespoke KPI systems; lessons learnt workshops and remedial action planning forums; on-line and operational phase data collection systems; and benchmarking and market testing; and formal VfM reporting structures.
Value for Money
VFM is secured by working with clients and supply chain members to produce a range of project solutions reviewing financial, site and accommodation solutions to produce option appraisals; securing required project approvals; and driving supply chain innovation.

Working alongside planners has allowed Amber Blue to maximise site density; develop maser plans; create value for the public sector through surplus site developments and redevelop urban sites.

Facilitating user group meetings, stakeholder consultations and public presentations has allowed Amber Blue to form close working relationships with multiple building users. Many projects have been delivered with multiple client bodies with complex lease arrangements made simple to understand.

Delivery of BREAAM ‘excellent’ projects; providing local, managed, innovative and recycled materials; driving energy efficiency to reduce fuel costs and reliance on fossil fuel and brownfield site developments.
