Amber Blue Shortlisted for East Central 'hub' Area

Amber Blue, a consortium comprising Robertson, Amber Infrastructure and Forth Holdings, has been named as one of three shortlisted bidders
for the Scottish Futures Trust's East Central Territory hub.

The successful bidder is expected to deliver around £150 million of community infrastructure improvements over the next decade
in the Angus, Clackmannanshire, Dundee, Falkirk, Fife, Perth & Kinross and Stirling Council areas.

The East Central Territory hub has a potential project pipeline of work valued at more than £450 million in the next 20 years. Initial
potential projects include the construction of Brechin High School; Harris Academy in Dundee; Bridge of Earn Health Centre;
and Stirling Community Hospital.

Neil McCormick, Amber Blue's Project Director, commented:

"Amber Blue is delighted to have been selected as one of the shortlisted bidders for this innovative partnership.

"The bidding process provides us with the opportunity to work closely in partnership with the Territory and the local hub participants to
develop processes and best value procurement methods that can be applied to the broad range of opportunities presented by the
East Central hub programme".

Scottish Futures Trust will now go on to select its preferred private sector partner by the end of 2011.

Tom Steele, Chair of the East Central Territory Programme Board and Director of Strategic Projects and Property at NHS Forth Valley, said:

"I look forward to working with the three shortlisted bidders in the next stage to choose the best private sector partner to deliver high
quality, sustainable public sector buildings for people living in the East Central hub area."

Neil Grice, hub Programme Manager at the Scottish Futures Trust, said:

"This is another important step for hub East Central on the way to deliver better public services for the community by building
quality buildings using local suppliers and contractors while bringing best value to the taxpayer."
